The Apple D.E.W. is a simple, refreshing drink. The very real apple tones that Tullamore D.E.W. Original offers complement the apple flavours in the juice, bringing to mind a sort of baked apple flavour. This can be enhanced by the addition of a dash of Angostura bitters to give the cocktail some spicy apple pie notes. An unexpected but deliciously fresh combination.

- 50 ml Tullamore D.E.W. Original
- 150 ml Apple juice
- Lemon wedge
HOW TO MAKE
- Into a tall ice-filled glass, add 50ml Tullamore D.E.W. Original
- Top with pressed apple juice
- Garnish with a lemon wedge

Freshly pressed or cloudy apple juice makes this cocktail taste 10 times better. Avoid apple juice from concentrate.

The History of Tullamore D.E.W.
Tullamore is a town in Ireland, a small town which today has a population of almost 13,000 people. DEW or D. E. W. are the initials of one of the greatest distillers Ireland has ever had, his name was Daniel Edmund Williams. He began working at the distillery as a stable boy at the age of 15 and went on to become Distillery Manager by the age of 25.

What is cloudy apple juice?
Cloudy apple juice is known to contain added antioxidants and produces a richer juice compared to traditional apple juice.
Is apple cider the same thing?
This is where terminology is confusing. In Ireland if you mention cider one assumes the alcoholic beverage. However in the US, apple cider often refers to non- alcoholic apple juice which other countries simple call apple juice.
