Discover Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre
Set in the heart of Ireland, our Old Bonded Warehouse sits on the banks of Tullamore’s Grand Canal. Since 1829, we’ve sent our whiskey out to the world. Nowadays, we invite the world to come to us, as we share the story of how our whiskey got its character.
Step inside our Visitor Centre - housed within our Old Bonded Warehouse - and follow in the footsteps of Daniel E. Williams as he goes from stable boy to distillery manager to creating the whiskey which still bears his initials today.
Discover our state-of-the-art process as you get to intimately know our history, and our whiskey.
THE EXPERIENCE
Take our tour and savour almost two centuries of our distillery’s history. Learn about the art of Irish whiskey-making and discover the secret that gives Tullamore D.E.W. its unique complexity.
Hear tales of the characters who made our whiskey world famous, see how we trick the barley into growing and find out why the angels always get their share.
Whiskey Tasting
We love the craft of whiskey-making but we love the craft of whiskey-tasting even more. Our tutored tastings will give you a new appreciation of whiskey and the kind of knowledge you can happily annoy your friends with.
In our masterclass we bring out some of our rarest whiskeys for you to enjoy and our Ultimate Distillery Experience lets you create an even rarer whiskey, your own unique blend.
The Bond Restaurant
Taste is at the heart of everything we do, from the whiskey we send around the world to the sumptuous dishes served in our restaurant, The Bond.
It’s as though taking the finest local ingredients and transforming them into flavour-filled sensations was a passion of ours.
Tullamore is 1hr from Dublin and Galway, just off Exit 5 on the M6. For full driving directions, please refer to the map on the right.
