Irish Manhattan

Just south of the Long Island Ice Tea you’ll find the ‘Manhattan’, just east of which you’ll find the Irish Manhattan. Despite the bitters adding to the inherent spice in the Tullamore D.E.W. whiskey, it’s a very smooth and approachable drink that reflects the Irish experience. Combining ingredients from all over the world, it expresses itself in a distinctly Irish way.

Irish Manhattan

RECIPE

  • 50 ml

    Tullamore D.E.W. Original

  • 15ml

    Sweet vermouth

  • 5ml

    Luxardo maraschino liqueur

  • Dash

    Of angostura bitters

  • Dash

    Of orange bitters

  • 1

    MARASCHINO CHERRY

1. Stir 50 ml Tullamore D.E.W. Original, 15ml Sweet Vermouth, 5ml Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and dashes of Angostura and Orange Bitters together quickly over ice.
2. Pour into a chilled coupe glass, zest an orange twist over the surface of drink, spiral and drop into the glass.
