A tall and a small, a boilermaker,a whiskey chaser. This drink has many names but it is founded on whiskey being a brilliant malt cousin of beer and how they can go hand in hand flavorwise.
Kevin Pigott Brand AmbassadorTry the beer first to warm up the palate, then the whiskey. Go back to the beer and see how it has changed based on the flavours on your palate.
Tullamore D.E.W. & A Brew A Brief History
It's believed that the Boilermaker takes its name from the workers who built and maintained steam locomotives in the 1800s.

Historically people drank beer and whiskey side by side, often called a Boilermaker. Beer formed a sensory precursor for the whiskey to interact with. We love the flavour experience of bringing these malt cousins together.
Will any type of beer work?
We recommend stout, lager or pilsner in the first instance but others love IPA's so find your favourite pairing that suits your palate.
Which do I drink first?
Here is the fun part! We like to start with the beer and warm up the palate, engaging all 5 elements of flavours, then follow up with the whiskey and watch the two dance together in your mouth.
