McCabe's
Brew
A tribute to Tom McCabe, who opened the new Tullamore distillery in 2014, after being among the last to lock the old distillery doors in 1954. This is a green tea and champagne whiskey cocktail that honours the past and celebrates new beginnings.

RECIPE
- 45 ML
TULLAMORE D.E.W. ORIGINAL IRISH WHISKEY
- 5ML
APPLE LIQUEUR
- 1 DASH
ANGOSTURA © BITTER
- 2 DASHES
ANGOSTURA © ORANGE BITTERS
- 2 BARSPOONS
WHITE GRANULATED SUGAR
- 30ML
GREEN TEA (STRONGLY BREWED)
- CHAMPAGNE
1. In a shaker, add sugar, bitters and green tea.
2. Stir to dissolve sugar.
3. Add apple liqueur, Tullamore D.E.W. and ice.
4. Hard shake and strain into a coupe glass.
5. Top with chilled champagne and garnish with a fan of apples.
