Elevenses A Brief History
Elevenses is a mid-morning snack time common to many countries. In most, it's used to munch on crackers or cheese and to sip on tea – but in some parts of the US and in Ireland in the 19th century, elevenses meant it was time for a nip of whiskey! Refreshing and fruity, this cocktail is an excellent choice for those hot summer months.

Jam is a delicious ingredient for many cocktails and Irish people love jam in general!
Why elevenses?
It was the time of day when a group of guests would sit for their tea and scones with a bit of jam on top. So, we felt it was apt to name the drink after this iconic regular Irish tea time.
Can I use another jam type?
Absolutely! This drinks works well with blackberry, raspberry or apricot jam.
