Ireland and Spain have a deeply intertwined history dating back to the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588 that marooned many of the surviving sailors in Ireland where they eventually settled. The O’Sherry whiskey cocktail pays tribute to this heritage pairing Spanish sherry and vermouth with the spice and vanilla sherry cask notes of Tullamore D.E.W. Original Irish whiskey.

Sherry casks give such rich flavour to our whiskey so we were inspired to bring some sherry influence to this deliciously complex cocktail.

Many Irish names have an O' before the family name ( O'Connell, O'Rourke etc) to signify that you are a descendant of that family name.
Why sherry?
Some of our whiskey rests in ex-sherry casks for years giving it it's dried fruits, raisons, sultanas, figs and soft spice flavours that we love.
Can I use other Sherries?
Sherries can vary so much in style and flavour it is best to stick with PX aka Pedro Ximenez style.
